Jeff Bezos’ rocket isn’t set to launch just yet.
In the early morning hours of Monday, Blue Origin declared that its reusable rocket, **New Glenn**, will not be lifting off as scheduled from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The postponement was due to a “vehicle subsystem issue.”
“We’re standing down on today’s launch attempt to diagnose a vehicle subsystem issue that will extend beyond our launch window,” the company stated in an announcement. “We’re evaluating options for our next launch attempt.”
This represents yet another postponement for New Glenn, which has encountered numerous challenges leading to this update. The rocket, aimed to be Blue Origin’s inaugural vehicle to reach orbit, includes a reusable booster designed to land on a platform in the Atlantic Ocean.
