Anker Soundcore is expanding its array of earbuds for the upcoming year with the launch of the Soundcore Sleep A30 Special sleep earbuds and the AeroFit 2 Pro open earbuds at CES 2026 on Monday.
The new AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds prominently feature an open design alongside active noise cancellation, a combination that has not been witnessed before.
As CES 2026 progresses, brands like Anker are unveiling a variety of new products. Check out the Mashable CES 2026 hub for the newest updates.
Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro debut
At CES, Anker revealed the Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds, providing users with the option of open earbuds and active noise cancellation in a single product—a choice rarely offered with conventional open earbud designs.
This marks the brand’s first dual-form design and a distinctive market entry. Typically, opting for open earbuds requires giving up ANC, as they are intended to rest outside the ear canal. However, the AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds include an adjustable ear hook—worn one way, they deliver an open listening experience; adjusted differently, they slide into the ear canal like standard noise-cancelling buds.
The earbuds feature five adjustment levels on the ear hook, enabling users to discover their most comfortable fit within both the open and noise-cancelling settings. Each earbud has two sensors that recognize how they are worn and modify the equalizer for peak sound quality.
The AeroFit 2 Pro will be launched in four color options, but only one will be available initially.
In open earbud mode, battery life is seven hours per charge with 34 hours in the case, while ANC mode offers five hours per charge and 24 hours total with the case.
The original AeroFit 2 earbuds are regarded as a top choice for open earbuds, celebrated for their comfort, sound quality, translation features, and affordability.
Like the original AeroFit 2, the Pro earbuds carry an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. They are priced at $179.99 and come in matte black, gloss white, gloss blue, and matte purple. Matte black will be available starting Jan. 6, while the other colors can be preordered—all color options have a special launch price of $149.99 at Soundcore with code WSTDA3875US.
Soundcore Sleep A30 Special earbuds introduction
The Soundcore Sleep A30 Special marks a less revolutionary yet surprising enhancement. Soundcore introduced the Sleep A30 earbuds last August as the first sleep earbuds featuring true active noise cancellation—a characteristic absent in even high-end models costing several hundred dollars.
Following testing, Mashable designated the Sleep A30 buds as the benchmark for premium sleep earbuds. Nonetheless, they faced a limitation with their nine-hour battery life (which drops to six and a half hours with Bluetooth streaming). The prior Sleep A20 buds offered 14 hours per charge.
With the Sleep A30 Special earbuds, Soundcore adds an additional hour of battery life for night owls. Instead of raising the price for this update, Soundcore reduces it to $199.99 (down from the Sleep A30’s $229.99). The Special buds also provide new integration with the Calm app, available with the standard Sleep A30 buds.
The Sleep A30 Special earbuds will be available for preorder starting Jan. 6 in mist lilac, lunar white, moonlit white, and mist green.
