CES 2026: TCL’s RayNeo Air 4 Pro Smart Glasses Feature an Outstanding HDR Screen and a Budget-Friendly Price

Smart glasses are a notable trend this year at CES 2026, and while TCL has been involved in the market for a while, its RayNeo glasses haven’t received as much recognition as rivals like Meta Ray-Ban and Xreal. That could change shortly. At CES, the brand introduced the forthcoming TCL RayNeo Air 4 Pro, featuring an HDR-capable Micro-OLED display and a highly competitive price.

The TCL RayNeo Air 4 Pro is set to officially launch on Jan. 25 for $299, considerably lower than similar augmented reality smart glasses. TCL asserts that the Air 4 Pro is the first HDR10-enabled AR glasses in the world.

The Air 4 Pro operates similarly to other AR glasses, necessitating a connection to a smartphone or laptop through USB-C. They project a virtual screen into your surroundings, enabling you to have an additional screen wherever you are.

I had the chance to try out the glasses prior to their official launch, and the display was exceptionally sharp, bright, and vibrant. I’ve been using the Xreal One Pro AR glasses for several months, and the difference in display quality was immediately evident. While the Xreal display can sometimes be a bit dim, the new RayNeo AR glasses were nearly too bright.

In addition to the impressive Micro-OLED display, the glasses come equipped with Bang & Olufsen speakers and AI 3D video conversion, although I did not test these features during the demonstration.

The TCL RayNeo Air 4 Pro glasses boast remarkable specifications:

– **Display:** SeeYa 0.6-inch Micro-OLED display
– **Processor:** Vision 4000 processor
– **Brightness:** Up to 1,200 nits
– **Color accuracy:** 98% DCI-P3
– **Refresh rate:** 60 to 120 Hz
– **Weight:** 76 grams

Alongside the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, TCL also presented its RayNeo X3 Pro Project eSIM, a new concept pair of AR glasses featuring a built-in eSIM. TCL claims that the RayNeo X3 Pro Project eSIM glasses are another world-first, offering embedded eSIM (4G) connectivity that allows them to function independently from a smartphone or laptop. However, these are likely to be quite costly, as the newly launched standard RayNeo X3 Pro without an eSIM is priced at $1,299.

Untethered AR glasses have distinct advantages. They also appear much more stylish than some other alternatives, as reflected in my photos from the demonstration.
