You can now demonstrate your viewpoint to friends by inviting them to a group chat featuring ChatGPT, where the AI can bolster your case.
Recently, OpenAI started experimenting with group chats in ChatGPT, allowing for collaborative efforts with AI support.
The beta was a success, leading to its rollout for all ChatGPT users, including those using the free version, as long as they are logged in.
The feature remains identical to the original trial: it accommodates up to 20 participants, accessible by clicking the icon located in the upper right corner of a chat. You will receive an invite link for sharing. Participants need to create a profile, and group chats are saved separately in the sidebar.
The ChatGPT-enabled teddy bear has officially gone on hold
If the feature isn’t available yet, it should be shortly. OpenAI mentions that group chats will be accessible globally “over the coming days.”
Disclosure: Ziff Davis, the parent company of Mashable, has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI in April, alleging that it violated Ziff Davis copyrights in its AI technologies.
