Gemini is now easier to reach in Google’s mobile web browser. Chrome users on iOS and Android can enable “AI Mode” from the new tab page, according to 9to5Google. This page used to show a Google search bar and icons for frequently visited sites, but now features an AI Mode button below the search bar. An incognito tab button is also present next to it, which could be handy based on your choices.

This enhancement offers a faster route to utilize Gemini-powered AI search. Although AI mode was always accessible on mobile devices, the new shortcut removes the necessity to recall the URL or create a bookmark. For those who favor classic search, the standard Google search remains at the top of the shortcut.
