Donald Trump Disrupts Epstein Email Press Conference in SNL Cold Opening

This week, the House Oversight Committee revealed a multitude of documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, which includes emails mentioning President Donald Trump. While Trump has largely refrained from discussing the emails, even telling a reporter to silence themselves when questioned, Saturday Night Live’s depiction of Trump (James Austin Johnson) had much to articulate in the show’s opening sketch.

The segment commenced with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt (Ashley Padilla) nervously responding to questions from reporters about the emails during a press briefing.

“The sole thing these emails demonstrate is that President Trump has done nothing amiss!” asserts SNL’s Leavitt. “If anything, his only offense was caring too much, and perhaps too young.”

Before long, Johnson’s Trump takes control of the briefing, trying to confront journalists with inquiries designed to showcase his innocence.

“If I were innocent, wouldn’t I simply disclose all the files?” Trump asks.

The reporters concur, responding affirmatively.

It appears that SNL’s Trump does intend to unveil all the Epstein files — as part of a business initiative. For $800, purchasers can acquire framed, exceptionally low-resolution screenshots of Epstein’s emails, including the infamous one inquiring, “Does Putin possess the photo of Trump performing sexual acts with Bubba?”

“It makes a fantastic stocking stuffer,” Trump proclaims. So if you’re in need of Christmas gift suggestions, here’s one from SNL.
