Dyson Unveiled: Every New Vacuum Introduced

Dyson has recently launched a variety of innovative devices at its Dyson Unveiled event held in Berlin, showcasing the most recent developments in its product offerings. As anticipated, Dyson’s vacuum cleaners took center stage, as the company aims to maintain its forefront status in suction technology.

Here’s a recap of the new vacuum models revealed at Dyson Unveiled.

Dyson V16 Piston Animal Cordless Vacuum

For anyone in search of the most sophisticated cordless vacuum in Dyson’s range, the V16 Piston Animal is the premier option. Similar to previous models, it incorporates a green light that highlights dust and utilizes air resistance to automatically modify suction depending on the type of flooring. New enhancements have been introduced to make cleaning and upkeep easier.

A significant improvement is the dual conical brush bar, crafted to manage hair lengths of up to 60 centimeters without tangling, channeling strands towards the ends of the bar for effortless suction into the bin.

The V16 Piston Animal also boasts a manual compression mechanism for compacting the contents of the dust bin, permitting extended use between emptying sessions and reducing mess. Dyson plans to introduce a self-emptying dock for this model the following year.

Switching vacuum heads has been simplified with a new release mechanism on the stick, allowing users to avoid bending over. The V16 Piston Animal is compatible with Dyson’s new Submarine 2.0 wet roller, which turns it into a wet and dry vacuum. This attachment is lightweight and easy to maneuver, perfect for small spaces without requiring an additional unit.

While the release date and pricing for the U.S. market are still to be announced, the V16 Piston Animal is currently available in Australia and the UK.

Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene Wet and Dry Vacuum

For those who prefer a dedicated wet and dry vacuum, the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene fulfills that requirement. It features a clean water reservoir on its body and a dirty water tank on the vacuum head, which minimizes the likelihood of clogs and unpleasant odors. It operates filter-free, capturing debris directly in the vacuum head.

Noteworthy features include a microfiber roller with nylon bristles for stain elimination, a self-cleaning capability, and a 185°F (85°C) hot-air drying dock to reduce manual upkeep. It is compatible with non-foaming cleaning solutions for improved floor cleansing.

The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is set to launch in Australia and the UK in the first half of 2026, while details for a U.S. release are still pending.

Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Robot Vacuum

Dyson made its way back into the robot vacuum sector last year with the 360 Vis Nav, which failed to perform as well as its rivals. Now, Dyson presents the Spot+Scrub Ai robot vacuum, a considerable upgrade featuring mopping capabilities and a self-emptying dock. Its bagless design simplifies the process of emptying the dust bin, akin to Dyson’s stick vacuums.

While it may not measure up to competitors in certain aspects, the Spot+Scrub Ai’s bagless feature sets it apart. It is capable of clearing ledges up to 20 millimeters high, which is a typical functionality.

The Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai is scheduled to debut in Australia and the UK in the first half of 2026, with no information regarding a U.S. launch available yet.

Dyson V8 Cyclone Cordless Vacuum

The Dyson V8 cordless vacuum, first launched in 2016, continues to be a favorite due to its cost-effectiveness. Dyson has now enhanced it with a 30 percent increase in suction power and a runtime of 60 minutes on a full charge. It features a button for operation, removing the necessity to keep a trigger pressed. The V8 Cyclone is compatible with existing V8 attachments and will receive a self-emptying dock next year.

The V8 Cyclone can be found in Australia and the UK, with details on the U.S. release expected soon.

Dyson PencilVac Cordless Vacuum

Although it was first introduced in May, the Dyson PencilVac garnered interest at Dyson Unveiled. With a diameter of 38 millimeters, its slender design is made possible by an airflow system that compresses dust and debris. The dust is stored within the vacuum’s handle, creating the illusion of a dust bin-free design.

The PencilVac includes four fluffy cone-shaped brush bars to prevent hair from tangling and has green lights on both ends to illuminate dust and clean surfaces. Its lightweight design and agility make it effective for reaching difficult spots.

The Dyson PencilVac has been on the market in Australia and the UK since August and will be debuting in the U.S. next year.
