Elon Musk’s DOGE.gov Site Seems to Be Modifiable by Anyone

### DOGE.gov Site Left Exposed, Enabling Anyone to Alter Its Content

Need more proof that **Elon Musk’s DOGE team**, which claims to enhance U.S. government effectiveness, is utterly out of its element?

Here’s the most recent misstep: The **DOGE.gov** website, established to monitor the progress of the initiative and changes in policy, has been left **entirely vulnerable**, permitting **anyone** to modify its content.

This issue was initially reported by **404Media**, which consulted with two cybersecurity experts who verified the obvious security gap. In fact, labeling it a “security flaw” might be overly kind—there seems to be **no protection in place whatsoever**.

#### Website Defaced, Hackers Mock DOGE Team’s Failings

Currently, at least two pages on **DOGE.gov** have been altered. One page now states:

> **”THESE ‘EXPERTS’ LEFT THEIR DATABASE OPEN – roro”**

Additionally, another page directly asserts:

> **”This is a joke of a .gov site.”**

Sources from 404Media disclosed that the site was developed using **Cloudflare Pages**, instead of being hosted on official governmental servers. One researcher who showcased the vulnerability described the site as **fraught with mistakes and leaking confidential information in its source code**.

> **”Feels like it was totally thrown together,”** they remarked.

#### A Record of Disgraceful Errors

DOGE, an initiative initiated during the Trump administration and currently overseen by **Elon Musk**, was intended to **update the federal government** and eradicate inefficiencies. Nevertheless, the project has been **primarily staffed by recent graduates** with minimal or no experience in governmental affairs.

This isn’t the first humiliating blunder. Merely days ago, another DOGE-associated site, **Waste.gov**, had to be **secured with a password** after it was launched with a **default WordPress template** still active.

For a team that claims to prioritize **efficiency and modernization**, these early errors do little to boost confidence.
