Emma Stone Rocks Out to Chappell Roan in Bugonia Teaser

Chappell Roan’s music is showcased in numerous venues, spanning presidential campaigns to Marshalls advertisements, as well as trailers for films such as M3GAN 2.0 and now Bugonia. While some advertisers are attracted to a memorable rhythm, in Yorgos Lanthimos’s newest creation, recognized for works like The Lobster, The Favourite, Poor Things, and Kinds of Kindness, Roan’s lyrics acquire a more profound meaning.

Written by Will Tracy (The Menu), Bugonia brings together Lanthimos and Stone once again, with Stone playing a powerful CEO reveling in a sing-along of “Good Luck, Babe” in her opulent vehicle before encountering relentless kidnappers.

Jesse Plemons stars alongside as the chief kidnapper, a conspiracy theorist who believes Stone’s character is an extraterrestrial plotting an attack. Even when captured, she remains fearless, asserting, “There is no conceivable outcome where you gain from this event.”

Let the clash of wills commence.

Bugonia hits theaters on Oct. 24.
