Epson Introduces Google TV Featuring Gemini in Lifestudio Projectors at CES 2026

Epson’s projectors are poised to become more intelligent in 2026. At CES 2026, Epson revealed that Google TV featuring Gemini will be incorporated into selected new Lifestudio projectors. This AI-driven system delivers a fluid streaming experience without requiring extra streaming devices.

Epson’s Lifestudio projectors currently utilize MediaTek’s SoC smart projector platform, enabling direct access to streaming platforms on the device itself. Now, with the integration of Google TV and Gemini within MediaTek’s SoC, users can experience a more streamlined viewing journey, particularly beneficial for those who prefer not to toggle between various streaming services.

Google TV featuring Gemini offers AI-assisted recommendations to aid users in determining their next viewing choice. Gemini, now fully merged with Google TV, serves as a personal AI aide, providing tailored suggestions based on viewing patterns. Google TV gathers all accessible content in a single location, removing the necessity to navigate through numerous apps. A unified watchlist compiles everything you wish to view across various streaming platforms, and you can manage this list from your mobile device when away from home.

In addition to entertainment, the incorporation of Google TV with Gemini into Epson’s projectors also acts as a smart home controller, managing compatible lights, doorbells, thermostats, and more.

The Google TV with Gemini integration is set to launch with the Lifestudio Grand projector in 2026. More Epson projector models compatible with Google TV will be announced later in the year.
