Experience Owen Cooper’s Emotional Emmys Address as He Becomes the Youngest Winner for Best Supporting Actor

15-year-old *Adolescence* star Owen Cooper made history on Sunday by becoming the youngest male recipient of an outstanding supporting actor Emmy.

Cooper, who was 14 during the filming of the impactful Netflix miniseries by fellow Emmy winner Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne, which depicts a teenager who kills a classmate, took to the stage and delivered a speech highlighting that his journey demonstrates that it is possible to achieve anything.

“Honestly, when I began these drama classes a couple of years ago, I never imagined I would even be in the United States, let alone here,” Cooper states in the video. “But I believe tonight shows that if you listen, stay focused, and step outside your comfort zone, you can accomplish anything in life.”
