Google is unveiling new functionalities for its conversational AI, **Gemini Live**, elevating real-time engagement with live video and screen-sharing features.

### **Fresh Features for Gemini Live**
Unveiled at **Mobile World Congress (MWC)** in Barcelona, Google’s answer to **ChatGPT’s Voice Mode** will enable users to share their screens or switch to live video on mobile devices. This allows users to pose questions to the AI chatbot concerning their environment or the website they’re browsing, accompanied by real-time visual support.

Previously, Google had hinted at Gemini Live’s capability to “see” when it debuted in **August 2024**. Now, the live video functionality is set to roll out to **Gemini Advanced** subscribers on **Android** later in **March**.

A promotional video (**via The Verge**) displays the new feature, where a ceramicist queries Gemini Live for glaze suggestions to achieve a “mid-century modern appearance” on freshly fired vases. Although the video serves promotional purposes, it emphasizes the AI’s ability to sustain contextual awareness as the camera shifts.
