Keanu Reeves embraces a celestial role in the forthcoming comedy *Good Fortune*. Penned and helmed by Aziz Ansari (*Parks and Recreation*, *Master of None*) in his directorial debut, the film showcases Reeves as Gabriel, a protective angel. Unlike the conventional angel Gabriel, this rendition resembles a “budget guardian angel,” primarily averting minor incidents like texting while driving.

Gabriel crosses paths with Arj (portrayed by Ansari), a struggling gig worker catering to affluent individuals such as tech mogul Jeff (Seth Rogen). While Arj holds disdain for them, he secretly yearns for their opulent way of life.

Spotting an opportunity to make a positive impact on Arj, Gabriel exchanges his life with Jeff’s to demonstrate that wealth doesn’t resolve every issue. However, Arj soon finds that living as Jeff does indeed address his challenges, much to Gabriel’s astonishment.
