Google Acknowledges Pixel 10… Kind Of

It is now affirmed that the Google Pixel 10 is indeed on its way, although the source is somewhat atypical. Google shared a promotional clip on its Made by Google YouTube channel, featuring an iPhone and a Pixel phone conversing on a podcast. The clip emphasizes that numerous recent AI announcements from Apple mirror features that Google had rolled out previously. At the conclusion of the video, the iPhone inquires about the Pixel’s intentions for the Pixel 10.

This may not appear particularly important, but it’s the inaugural instance of Google referencing “Pixel 10” in its promotional content. Unfortunately, the video lacks additional specifics. We remain unaware of the official launch date, availability date, pricing, or how it varies from the Pixel 9.

There are various speculations and leaks circulating, however. The standard Pixel 10 may come equipped with a telephoto lens in addition to the wide and ultra-wide lenses, making it more comparable to the high-end Pixel Pro devices. Android Headlines reported that this telephoto lens will improve macro photography, which was previously achieved using the ultra-wide lens.

As per Android Headlines, the Pixel 10 smartphones could potentially be unveiled on Aug. 20, with a launch on Aug. 28, though this remains unverified.
