Google Earth has introduced a Street View feature that permits users to examine historical imagery.
The technology firm revealed the incorporation of historical Street View imagery into Google Earth, allowing users to access past visuals of the globe. This update commemorates the 20th anniversary of Google Earth and was previously limited to Google Maps. A functionality for inspecting historical satellite images has also been launched.
“Today, we celebrate this significant birthday by introducing historical Street View imagery to Google Earth,” the company mentioned in a blog entry. “Now you can discover the marvels of the world from even more perspectives, be it from an aerial view or at ground level.”
Historical Street View is an intriguing online resource. We have brought it up numerous times at Mashable. For instance, last year, TikTok users initiated a nostalgic trend by revisiting forgotten individuals and locations using this function.
