Google’s Gemini Live Now Accessible to All Android Users
During the weekend, Google broadened the availability of its Gemini Live feature, allowing all Android users to access it. Initially introduced last month for Pixel 9, Galaxy S25, and Gemini Advanced subscribers, the tool is now extensively available throughout the Android platform, as noted by Android Central.
Gemini Live permits users to share their screen or camera feed in real-time with the AI assistant. This functionality enables Gemini to “view” what the user observes, creating new opportunities for immediate assistance. For instance, users can direct their phone’s camera towards a faulty router and request troubleshooting help from Gemini, or share their screen to receive guidance on navigating an application or configuration.
Google had previously disclosed that the feature would be available to all Android users with the Gemini app, and this wider release meets that expectation.
To utilize the feature, users can launch the Gemini app and select the “Share screen with Live” button. Although it’s not entirely augmented reality, this capability brings users closer to effortless, interactive AI support — presenting an engaging new method to interact with their devices.
