Grindr and Additional Gay Dating Applications Not Accessible

Disheartening news for individuals looking for connections on Grindr today — the app is facing downtime due to a widespread Cloudflare outage. The internet service noted on Tuesday morning that it was investigating an issue with its global network.

The header on Grindr’s status page shows that the team started looking into a problem at 8:52 ET and confirmed shortly afterward that it was associated with Cloudflare.

It becomes more complex: another LGBTQ dating app, Sniffies, is similarly down, according to Downdetector. (Note: Downdetector is owned by Ziff Davis, which also owns Mashable).

Other LGBTQ dating platforms like SCRUFF and JACK’D appear to be experiencing difficulties as well. Both are managed by Amazon Web Services.

If there’s any solace for those seeking a match, it’s that several other websites, including X and Uber, are also down.
