The game is made up of five rounds. In the initial round, you attempt to guess the word, receiving feedback on which letters are correct, misplaced, or incorrect. A correct guess moves you on to the following hurdle, using the previous response as your starting point. This can yield various hints or none at all, based on the words involved. In the last hurdle, all previous correct responses are shown, with correct and misplaced letters emphasized.

Keep in mind that the number of times a letter is highlighted in former guesses does not always reflect its occurrence in the final hurdle.
