What is Connections?
The NYT‘s newest daily word game has transformed into a social media hit. The Times acknowledges associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu for aiding in the creation of this new word game and incorporating it into the publication’s Games section. Connections can be accessed on web browsers and mobile devices, tasking players with grouping four words that share a similarity.

Every puzzle contains 16 words, split into four groups. These sets might cover anything from book titles to software or names of countries. Though many words might appear to connect, there is only one accurate solution.
If a player successfully identifies all four words in a group, those words are taken off the board. Incorrect guesses are counted as errors—players can incur up to four errors before the game concludes.

Players have the ability to rearrange and shuffle the board to make spotting connections simpler. Each group is assigned a color code, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Like Wordle, you can share your results with friends on social media.
