How to Stick a Message in an Instagram DM

**Instagram Unveils New Messaging Features, Including Pinned Messages**

In February, Instagram launched a variety of new features with a significant emphasis on improving direct messaging. Users can now translate their DM messages, schedule them ahead of time, add music, and pin specific messages. While these functionalities might be known to iMessage and Slack users, they are relatively new to the realm of social media platforms.

In a press statement, Meta showcased the update:
*”Last year, we enabled the option to pin up to three chat threads in your DM inbox, simplifying the process of locating important discussions. Now, you can pin individual messages at the top of any 1:1 or group chat to facilitate coordination, connect with your friends, or revisit content that brings you joy every time.”*
