Humans Might Soon Live Below the Surface in Deep Ocean Environments

Mashable recently toured DEEP’s campus, the organization dedicated to constructing deep sea habitats aimed at allowing humans to inhabit underwater by the conclusion of this decade. We will descend beneath the waves in a submarine to observe where the habitats will initially undergo testing, followed by a visit inside Sentinel, one of the two habitats DEEP is presently working on, and delve into the technology’s history, along with its implications for the future of marine biology and deep sea exploration.
