Apple is expected to reveal its inaugural foldable iPhone later this year (or potentially in 2027), and a leaker this week claims to have an up-close view of the device.
Leaker Sonny Dickson shared images on his X account, purportedly showcasing dummy models for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the iPhone Fold.
The initial two devices bear resemblance to other iPhone Pro models, featuring three camera lenses housed within a rectangular bump on the rear. One seems slightly larger, likely the Pro Max variant. However, the main emphasis is on the rumored iPhone Fold model, providing an early sneak peek at the forthcoming, yet-to-be-announced phone.
Although Dickson did not disclose precise size measurements, it’s clear that the iPhone Fold is both broader and more compact than its counterparts. It appears even wider and shorter than the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The leaked iPhone Fold model also boasts two rear camera lens cut-outs in a more compact raised bump compared to the iPhone 18 Pro models.
These dummy models are consistent with prior leaks and renders of the device.
According to earlier reports, the iPhone Fold’s outer display will measure just 5.5 inches, marking a significant decrease compared to standard iPhone models. Yet, when opened, users will gain access to 7.8 inches of screen real estate. The iPhone Fold is also rumored to have a price tag exceeding $2,000, indicating a steep cost.
While the iPhone Fold is anticipated to debut later in 2026, a new report aligning with Dickson’s latest leak suggests the launch might be pushed back to 2027. Regardless, this constitutes a considerable amount of information about a device that Apple has yet to verify.
