Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver have all shared their perspectives on the Trump-Musk conflict, but Jon Stewart also expressed his opinions during his weekly stint hosting The Daily Show. In the segment, Stewart summarizes the feud, which initiated with Musk criticizing Trump’s “big beautiful bill” and intensified with both individuals trading barbs on social media, before turning his attention to Republicans directly.
“It must be challenging for the right to witness how small-minded and childish these two man-children are, and how they exercise their influence in spiteful and unpredictable ways when things don’t go their way, along with the harm that such behavior inflicts. And what I would tell the right is: Welcome to our f***ing world. Every single day. Now you’re aware,” remarks Stewart.
“You on the right didn’t care when Godzilla and Mothra joined forces to wreck the city. You’re only upset now that they’re at odds with each other. Because you just experienced their thin-skinned, overly sensitive, delicate, ego-fueled, nihilism.”
