At first, the tech mogul and *”special government employee”* indicated that he would join the interview if it was broadcasted without edits. However, he subsequently tweeted on X that “Jon Stewart is much more propagandist than it appears.”

On Monday, Stewart responded directly to Musk’s remarks, clarifying his position unequivocally.

“The individual who crafted his own dark MAGA hat, which he dons while advising the president he invested $270 million to elect, believes *I’m* too biased,” Stewart stated in the clip above. “Look, Elon, I do have some critiques regarding DOGE, but overall, I endorse the concept of efficiency and enhancing government services in a more economical manner. If you’re interested in joining the show and discussing it, fantastic. If not, that’s okay, too. But let’s not pretend you’re avoiding the interview because I don’t adhere to your alleged standards of impartiality. Because, frankly, that’s nonsense.”
