Jon Stewart has been cheerfully critiquing Punch, the monkey from Ichikawa City Zoo who discovered comfort in a stuffed animal after being abandoned, ever since this adorable primate first gained fame online.

In the Daily Show clip above, the host reacts to the report that Punch may have found a mate, showcasing footage of the monkey frolicking with a new friend before providing his insights.

“Awesome. It’s really great. Though, um…listen girl, let’s be real. I know what you’re thinking, but girl…you can’t change him,” Stewart remarks, before offering Punch a discreet piece of advice. “Punch, honestly, if you’re tuned in, I’m thrilled for you, but a bit of counsel: Pre-nup.”
