Leak discloses significant camera enhancements for Samsung Galaxy S26

Samsung is allegedly preparing major updates for the Galaxy S series’ mid-tier model next year. A leak from WinFuture, cited by TechRadar, discloses potential camera features and additional information about the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series, which has yet to be officially announced. The leak indicates that the S26 Ultra will keep its 200MP wide lens and 50MP telephoto lens, akin to the S25 Ultra. In contrast, the S26 Plus, situated among the three S26 variants, may undergo more significant modifications.

WinFuture suggests that Samsung might substitute the Plus model, which is essentially a larger standard model, with a brand-new, ultra-slim Galaxy Edge phone. The recently released S25 Edge, recognized for its sleek design, presents a distinct identity compared to earlier Plus versions. The intermediate phone, regardless of being a Plus or an Edge, is anticipated to incorporate a new 50MP ultra-wide lens, bringing it closer in line with the Ultra variants.

In summary, the mid-range Galaxy S-series device for next year may unveil both a fresh design and an enhanced camera system. Further details are expected in January.
