Lenovo kicked off the year on a high note at the Consumer Electronics Show, unveiling the Qira personal AI assistant, numerous new laptops, and a range of PC accessories, securing three Best of CES accolades. Now, as the leading PC manufacturer globally, it is enhancing its 2026 portfolio with fresh hardware at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The announcements from Lenovo at MWC highlight an expanded selection of laptops and tablets for consumers, more “Think” devices designed for businesses, and six innovative concepts, such as a foldable variant of its renowned Legion Go 2 gaming handheld, a laptop featuring a glasses-free 3D display, and a modular laptop design. Lenovo also revealed that Qira will be compatible with over 20 devices, with rollout commencing in the upcoming weeks.
Mashable previewed the upcoming laptops and concept devices during a press briefing prior to MWC 2026, and we have a comprehensive summary of all the announcements. Let’s explore.
Legion Go Fold: An Innovative Gaming Handheld Concept
Lenovo confirmed the Legion Go Fold Concept following its leak last week. This prototype gaming handheld boasts a 7.7-inch POLED display that can unfold into an 11.6-inch screen usable in both horizontal and vertical orientations. It also features a detachable wireless keyboard, allowing it to transform into a clamshell-style Windows laptop. It operates on an Intel Lunar Lake chip equipped with 32GB of RAM.
While there’s no assurance that this concept will make it to market, Lenovo’s disclosure of its internal specifications is encouraging.
A Glasses-Free 3D Laptop Concept
Lenovo has been investigating glasses-free 3D displays in laptops for several years, with its latest being the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept, a dual-display model tailored for 3D creators. It is driven by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics, featuring vibrant OLED panels on both screens.
In a pre-MWC demonstration, the 3D laptop was particularly impressive. It tracks eye movements to render objects in 3D and comes with snap-on pads that activate specific touch menus. A kickstand is integrated into its base.
A Modular Business Laptop Concept
Lenovo’s ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept presents an intriguing prototype. It allows for easy port swaps, includes a detachable secondary display and keyboard, and features a kickstand for use as a second monitor.
“Integrated pogo-pin connectors ensure dependable power and data transfer between modules, resulting in a self-sufficient, highly adaptable system designed for contemporary laptop users who require flexible performance,” Lenovo stated.
The ThinkBook Modular AI PC supports versatile workflows and could prolong the device’s lifespan. Although not available for purchase yet, its best concepts may find their way into production.

Lenovo’s consumer laptop offerings for MWC are led by the next-generation Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition, which features an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chip, a lighter build, and additional ports. It comes bundled with a Yoga Pen Gen 2, and the stylus’s case clips magnetically to facilitate a new Canvas mode. Set to be available in May for $1,949.
