Lenovo Revelation Exposes Laptop with Spinning Screen

Lenovo is said to be preparing to unveil a laptop featuring a display that can shift from horizontal to vertical orientations, as per leaker Evan Blass. This laptop, referred to internally as Project Pivo, is anticipated to be presented at the upcoming IFA tech trade event in Berlin next week, according to Blass.

Lenovo has a reputation for advancing technological frontiers. Last year, they launched a laptop equipped with a transparent display at MWC in Barcelona. Another idea, the rollable-screen laptop named the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6, was displayed at CES 2025 before being priced at $3,499.

Blass further noted that Lenovo plans to unveil the second generation of its portable gaming device, the Legion Go. According to the specifications and early reviews of the Legion Go 2 that Blass has shared, the console appears to be a formidable contender against products like the Steam Deck. Moreover, Lenovo will present new Lenovo/Motorola smartphones, a variety of new tablets and laptops, and a laptop stand that modifies its height and angle using laptop sensors at IFA.

Laptops with rotating screens and self-adjusting stands? Just another typical showcase from Lenovo.
