Helmed by Dean Fleischer Camp (*Marcel the Shell with Shoes On*), this rendition revisits the cherished tale of Stitch (voiced by Chris Sanders, who also co-directed and voiced the character in the original movie), a playful alien who crash-lands on the Hawaiian islands. There, he develops an unlikely friendship with a young girl named Lilo, portrayed by newcomer Maia Kealoha.

The film’s initial complete trailer pays tribute to numerous memorable scenes from the animated classic, including the Ice Cream Man’s unfortunate incident and the touching phrase: *”Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.”*

Alongside Lilo and Stitch, the trailer showcases additional cast members, such as Lilo’s older sister Nani (Sydney Elizabeth Agudong), Nani’s boyfriend David (Kaipo Dudoit), and social worker Cobra Bubbles (Courtney B. Vance). On the alien front, Zach Galifianakis and Billy Magnussen portray Jumba and Pleakley, both in their extraterrestrial and human forms. *Ted Lasso*’s Hannah Waddingham lends her voice to the Grand Councilwoman. Furthermore, Tia Carrere and Amy Hill, who initially voiced Nani and Mrs. Hasagawa, return in new roles as Mrs. Kekoa and Tūtū.
