The holiday spirit has overtaken 30 Rock, and this week’s Saturday Night Live host, Melissa McCarthy, took part in a skit centered on sharing happiness through acts of goodwill.

Well, kind of.

Following her young neighbor’s touching choice to clear her snowy walkway, McCarthy — the elderly, seemingly sweet grandmother next door — opted to reciprocate with a series of gifts that become increasingly outrageous and comical.

A bully (Marcello Hernandez) bound on the front lawn, two women and a pimp at the door, a firearm in a beautifully wrapped package — it’s reminiscent of a warped Grinch tale. Grandma may be a deranged killer, but her ill-conceived efforts are still disseminating festive joy.
