The season officially kicks off on July 30, but a launch special episode on July 23 unveiled the pairings for the forthcoming season. The format pits returning veterans against reality TV newcomers, with each team made up of one experienced player and one rookie.

The veteran competitors, many of whom are Challenge icons, will steer their rookie partners through the game’s challenges while contending with longstanding rivalries.
