New Report Indicates a More Intelligent Siri is on Its Way

**Apple’s iOS 18.4 Beta Set to Bring Enhanced Siri Soon**

The initial beta of Apple’s much-awaited iOS 18.4 is anticipated to debut in the next few days, featuring a notably refined and more capable Siri.

As reported by *Bloomberg’s* Mark Gurman, the beta launch is slated to occur “between the middle of this week and the next.”

### A Significant Update for iPhone Users

This update is crucial for iPhone users, as it will finally bring long-desired enhancements to Siri. The virtual assistant will be able to tap into personal data to deliver more pertinent answers. Apple has committed to advancements in language understanding, more fluid communication, and the capability to execute tasks across multiple applications.

Though these enhancements may not make Siri the most sophisticated voice assistant on the market, a partnership with OpenAI’s ChatGPT could help close the gap. This update is part of Apple’s wider *Apple Intelligence* initiative, which was revealed last June but remains partially rolled out.

### Public Release Anticipated in April

Gurman notes that the public version of iOS 18.4 is projected to be released in April.

Moreover, in his recent newsletter, he indicated that Apple is developing a tabletop robot, which may launch as early as 2027.

He also reaffirmed his forecast that Apple will introduce a revamped iPhone SE this week, likely alongside the new PowerBeats Pro 2 earbuds.
