As reported by *The Verge*, the submission verifies that the portable **Switch 2** will retain its **near-field communication (NFC)** technology, enabling players to access exclusive in-game content through Amiibo figures. Furthermore, the upgraded console will feature **two USB-C charging ports**—one positioned at the top and another at the bottom—alongside **Wi-Fi 6 compatibility**, which facilitates faster and more reliable internet connections with up to **80MHz of bandwidth**.

Nintendo initially hinted at the **Switch 2** in January, revealing a **larger form factor**, **new color options**, and **revised Joy-Con controllers**. A subsequent **patent** indicated that the enhanced Joy-Cons may operate more like a **computer mouse** rather than a conventional gamepad, possibly providing improved movement capabilities for users.

Nonetheless, all conjecture will be resolved when Nintendo formally reveals the **Switch 2** during its **launch event on April 2**.
