Nintendo Enthusiasts Assemble for Switch 2 Midnight Release: Check Out the Images

If you are feeling somewhat fatigued and content today, it’s possible you were one of those waiting in long lines for the midnight debut of the Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. on Wednesday, following prior launches in Australia, Spain, the UK, and Japan.

Enthusiastic Nintendo supporters, gamers, and tech aficionados gathered outside retailers such as Target, Best Buy, and Walmart nationwide to obtain the much-awaited handheld console in person. Doug Bowser, the president of Nintendo of America, was also present to welcome customers at GameStop in New York.

As reported by Mashable Tech Editor Timothy Beck Werth, “The initial customers to receive Switch 2 consoles were the fortunate players who preordered through GameStop or Best Buy. Both retailers organized midnight ET launch events across the country, allowing individuals to collect their preorders in person.”
