**Connections: The Recent Word Game Phenomenon from The New York Times**

*Connections*, the latest word game launched by the *New York Times*, has swiftly gained popularity among those who enjoy puzzles. This captivating game invites players to discover “common links among words.” Much like *Wordle*, *Connections* resets at midnight every day, with each puzzle gradually increasing in difficulty. If you’re facing a challenge, we have hints and strategies to assist you.

If you’re just looking for today’s answer, scroll down to the bottom of this article. However, if you’d like to tackle it independently, continue reading for hints and insights to support you.

### What’s *Connections*?

The *New York Times* has introduced another amazing addition to its Games section with *Connections*, a daily word puzzle developed with help from associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu. Accessible on both web and mobile platforms, the game requires players to group four words that share a common theme.

Each puzzle contains 16 words that need to be categorized into four unique groups. These groups can include a range of topics such as book titles, software names, country names, and beyond. Although some words may appear to fit into various categories, there is only one correct answer.

When a player successfully identifies all four words in a group, those words are cleared from the board. However, wrong guesses are considered errors, and players are permitted up to four mistakes before the game concludes.

To enhance gameplay, players can shuffle the board to better identify connections. The categories are also marked by color, indicating difficulty: yellow being the simplest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Similar to *Wordle*, players can share their results on social media to compare scores with friends.
