### What is *Connections*?
The *New York Times*’ newest word game has taken the internet by storm. Developed with the collaboration of associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, *Connections* is accessible on both web browsers and mobile platforms. The objective is to group four words that share a common theme.
Each puzzle contains 16 words, split into four categories. These categories can range from book titles to software applications or even nations. Although several words may appear to fit together, there’s only one accurate solution.
When you successfully identify a group of four words, they are eliminated from the board. However, wrong guesses are considered errors, and players are permitted up to four errors before the game concludes.
To facilitate gameplay, players have the option to shuffle the board to identify connections more easily. Each category is designated by a color:
– **Yellow**: Easiest
– **Green**: Moderate
– **Blue**: Challenging
– **Purple**: Most difficult
Similar to *Wordle*, you can share your outcomes with friends on social media.
