What Is Connections?
Connections is the newest phenomenon in word games from The New York Times, created with the collaboration of associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu. Accessible on both desktop and mobile devices, the game invites players to categorize 16 words into four groups of four, each group sharing a common theme.
At first glance, many of the words might appear to fit together, but there’s only one accurate grouping for each category. When you successfully identify a set, those words are removed from the board. However, be cautious—you only have four incorrect guesses before the game concludes.
To assist you in recognizing patterns, you have the option to shuffle the board. Each category is color-coded based on difficulty: yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Like Wordle, you can share your outcomes with friends via social media.
