What is Connections: Sports Edition?
The NYT’s latest daily word puzzle, created in collaboration with The Athletic, the sports branch of the New York Times. Connections can be accessed via web browsers and mobile devices, requiring players to categorize four words with a shared connection.

Each puzzle features 16 words split into four categories. These categories may encompass anything from book titles to software or national names. While several words may appear to align, only one combination is correct.
When a player successfully groups all four words, those words vanish from the board. An incorrect guess counts as an error — players have a maximum of four errors before the game concludes.

Players are allowed to rearrange and shuffle the board to find links more easily. Each category is color-coded: yellow indicates the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Similar to Wordle, you can share your results with friends via social media.
