One Piece Season 2 Teaser Reveals Live-Action Baroque Works Killers

The courageous Straw Hat Pirates from “One Piece” are poised to face off against their most formidable enemies yet: Baroque Works.

A fresh trailer for Netflix’s live-action version of “One Piece” showcases the daunting criminal organization that Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his crew will encounter in Season 2. The teaser emphasizes that this clandestine group of assassins should not be taken lightly.

“Bridgerton” actress Charithra Chandran features as Miss Wednesday, challenging Nami (Emily Rudd). The trailer also reveals Lera Abova as Miss All-Sunday, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, and Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek.

Joe Manganiello is cast as Mr. 0, the head of Baroque Works, known as Sir Crocodile, but the trailer keeps his look under wraps.

Nevertheless, the trailer does highlight Baroque Works’ remarkable skills and fashionable attire. From taking down guards with mere words to enchanting people with paint, Baroque Works appear ready to make the Straw Hats’ adventure treacherous. Plus, there are wig guns, making the trailer worth watching for that reason alone.

“One Piece” Season 2 launches March 10 on Netflix.
