**OpenAI Unveils Inherent Image Creation in ChatGPT and Sora**
OpenAI has incorporated image creation directly into **ChatGPT** and **Sora**, boosting the platform’s creative functionalities.
During a livestream moderated by CEO **Sam Altman** along with other OpenAI staff, the company highlighted innovative image generation features powered by the **GPT-4o** model.
In the past, image production was managed by **DALL-E** and necessitated users to switch to a distinct application. Now, with built-in integration in ChatGPT, the model can effortlessly generate images based on contextual prompts without needing explicit image-related requests. It also grants users the capability to refine the created images through iterative prompts and has enhanced text rendering abilities, as per OpenAI’s statement.
### **More Than Just a Trend**
OpenAI intends to make image generation in ChatGPT more functional and adaptable. The tool can now produce **diagrams, infographics, logos, social media graphics, and various visual content**, rendering it beneficial beyond mere artistic outputs.
Altman highlighted the model’s **”creative freedom,”** asserting:
*”We desire the model to avoid causing offense if users wish so, but within reasonable limits, we also wish for people to have the liberty to create according to their desires.”*
### **Access**
Inherent image generation in ChatGPT is now accessible for **ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Team, and Free users** within the chat interface. OpenAI intends to broaden availability to **Enterprise and Edu users** shortly.
