Though I remain somewhat unimpressed by the Kindle edition and hardcover discounts, there are notable markdowns on paperbacks that are already active. I compared the prices to those from Amazon’s October Prime Day, including only titles that warrant the “Black Friday deal” label. I’ll be vigilant for new deals as Black Friday approaches — especially on some of 2025’s standout titles and BookTok hits. Many of the titles featured in Goodreads’ and Amazon’s top books of 2025 lists haven’t yet been discounted. They may have minor reductions, but I believe there’s potential for better.
