Reddit Allows You to Get Feedback on Your Draft Prior to Posting—Here’s the Process

**Reddit Unveils New Features to Assist Users in Avoiding Rule Violations Prior to Posting**

Reddit has launched fresh tools aimed at aiding users to verify their posts conform to subreddit regulations before they become public. Essentially, the service now streamlines some of the decision-making for you.

Introduced in early March and steadily being rolled out in beta for both iOS and Android, Reddit’s latest **Rules Check** feature enables users to ascertain whether their post contravenes subreddit rules prior to publication. After composing a post, users can seek a review from Reddit, which will highlight any potential concerns that might result in removal.

### **Assisting Users in Understanding Subreddit Rules**
If you’re uncertain about a specific subreddit’s regulations, Reddit has also rolled out a **community criteria note** that underscores key guidelines, such as age limitations or minimum Karma standards. This function assists users in grasping the unique expectations of each subreddit before making a post.

### **Steps to Utilize Reddit’s Rules Check**

**Estimated Time:** 5 minutes
**Requirements:** A Reddit account

#### **Step 1: Compose Your Post**
Carefully draft your post, keeping in mind that it will remain online indefinitely once published.

#### **Step 2: Tap the Magic Wand Icon**
In the bottom right corner of the post editor, tap the magic wand icon. This will trigger Reddit to evaluate your post for any possible rule violations.

#### **Step 3: Make Changes (or Not)**
If Reddit identifies any problems, you have the option to modify your post as needed. However, if you opt not to amend it, be aware that your post could be taken down if it breaches subreddit regulations.

### **New Post Recovery Function**
Alongside Rules Check, Reddit has introduced **Post Recovery**, a function that appears under removed posts that infringe community guidelines. This feature allows users to effortlessly repost their content to a different subreddit, ensuring they remain involved in discussions even if their original submission was removed.

When questioned about whether there is a limit on how many times a removed post can be reposted, Reddit confirmed that, for now, there are no restrictions.

These innovative features are designed to enhance user experience by decreasing post removals and assisting users in more effectively navigating subreddit regulations before they click “submit.”
