Report Suggests Apple Postpones Second-Generation iPhone Air

The introduction of the second generation of the ultra-slim iPhone Air, originally scheduled for Fall 2026, is expected to face delays, according to reports from The Information (via The Verge). This postponement is linked to the lackluster sales performance of the iPhone Air, which debuted in September as the slimmest iPhone to date. A more feasible release timeframe may be Spring 2027, aligning with the debut of the iPhone 18 and 18E.

The existing iPhone Air is equipped with the robust A19 Pro chip, a 6.5-inch ProMotion screen, and a titanium casing. The forthcoming second generation is projected to be even thinner, feature an enhanced battery, and potentially incorporate a vapor chamber.
