With its clever writing and outrageous humor, the sci-fi animated series has continued to captivate both fans and critics. However, even among the skilled voice actors, moments of envy arise—particularly regarding some of the series’ most memorable lines.

Ian Cardoni, who took on the role of Rick Sanchez in Season 7, expresses his excitement in making some of the mad scientist’s classic catchphrases his own. For Spencer Grammer, the voice of Rick’s rebellious granddaughter Summer Smith, one of her top scenes includes a line she wishes she could have performed herself. (If “beekeeping age” sounds familiar, you’re already in the loop.)

Harry Belden, who entered the role of Morty last season, confesses that it’s actually Beth—voiced by Sarah Chalke—who delivers the lines he finds himself repeating the most. He’s not the only one—his fellow cast members concur.

What kinds of outrageous one-liners, rants, and interdimensional escapades are in store for Season 8? You’ll need to tune in to discover.

Rick and Morty Season 8 debuts May 25 at 11 p.m. ET on Adult Swim. The newest season will also be accessible for streaming on Max and Hulu starting September 1.
