Dominique Thorne is donning her suit once more as Riri Williams in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — and this time, she’s embarking on a truly revolutionary project.

The eagerly awaited Ironheart series, helmed by Ryan Coogler, takes place after the storyline of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Today, fans were treated to their first look at the series with the unveiling of its teaser trailer, generating a wave of excitement.

In this forthcoming Marvel television series, Thorne returns to her role as the exceptional MIT student and tech genius renowned for designing formidable iron suits that could compete with Iron Man himself. Now back in her Chicago hometown, Riri encounters Parker Robbins, known as “The Hood” (portrayed by Anthony Ramos), during a high-stakes job interview that suddenly shifts in an unforeseen direction. Robbins presents her with a remarkable chance — but what are his real motives? And what exactly is Riri intending to create next?

With Chinaka Hodge as the lead writer and episodes directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes, Ironheart is gearing up to be an essential addition to the MCU.

Ironheart debuts on Disney+ on June 24.
