Samsung keeps unveiling Galaxy S25 smartphones. Following the flagship S25 and S25 Ultra, Samsung has launched the ultra-slim S25 Edge. Now, several months later, the Galaxy S25 FE has been unveiled, providing a more cost-effective choice with slightly diminished specifications.
Set to launch Thursday at $649.99, the Galaxy S25 FE comes in four hues: Navy, Jetblack, White, and IceBlue.
Whether $649.99 is seen as budget-friendly or mid-range is subjective, but it is certainly more economical than Samsung’s $1,999.99 Galaxy Fold 7.
Here are the primary specifications for the S25 FE:
– 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 60-120Hz adaptive refresh rate
– Exynos 2400 processor
– 8GB RAM
– 128/256GB storage
– 4,900mAH battery
– Rear cameras: 50MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom
– 12MP selfie camera
There are some distinctions between the standard S25 and the S25 FE. The budget version comes with an Exynos 2400 processor, a downgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip found in the regular S25. It also features 8GB of RAM instead of 12GB, and the 8MP telephoto lens is slightly less advanced than the 10MP module on the S25.
Nonetheless, it offers a spacious display with a superior refresh rate compared to the iPhone 16 and a possibly robust battery. A telephoto lens on a device priced under $700 is noteworthy. Additionally, it features Samsung’s AI tools such as Generative Edit for photos, Gemini Live, and the Now Brief daily hub page for weather, news, and more.
It’s possible that Samsung may introduce an additional S25 model before the year concludes.
