
Samsung’s One UI 8.5 public beta program is now live, as confirmed by multiple sources, providing Galaxy S25 users an early look at new features and enhancements ahead of the broader rollout.
The updates feature a visual overhaul, expanded customization capabilities, new AI-driven tools, and improved cross-device connectivity. Currently, the public beta is only available to Galaxy S25 series users in South Korea, the U.S., the UK, Germany, India, and Poland.
New functionalities in the public beta include upgraded Galaxy AI features, such as improved image-generation tools, and better cross-device integration, including storage sharing between Samsung devices and quicker Smart View access. Auracast also benefits from advancements with streamlined listening and broadcasting controls accessible via a new Audio Broadcast menu in Settings.
Battery life and performance see noteworthy upgrades with revamped power management tools. For those who love personalization, One UI 8.5 provides increased options throughout the Quick panel, lock screen, widgets, and icons. Privacy and security receive enhancements with fresh anti-theft measures.
To obtain One UI 8.5 public beta, join the beta program through the Samsung Members app. Make sure the app is installed, log in, and locate the “One UI Beta Program” banner or card on the main page. Tap to register. Next, navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install to acquire the beta build and begin exploring One UI 8.5.
