Samsung Reveals Galaxy Buds3 FE with AI Enhancements

Samsung has revealed the release of its Galaxy Buds3 FE in the U.S. on September 4, available in black or gray for $149.99. This announcement comes after the success of the Galaxy Buds FE, which earned a 4.4 out of 5 stars for their remarkable sound quality within their price range. The question remains whether Samsung can achieve similar success with the Buds3 FE while justifying the increased price.

As per the official press release, the new earbuds will come with enhanced audio and seamless integration with Galaxy AI, providing hands-free voice commands and real-time translation via the Galaxy AI Interpreter app. However, a Galaxy smartphone is necessary to fully access these AI functionalities, which will be complimentary until the conclusion of 2025 on compatible Samsung Galaxy devices.

The Buds3 FE presents an “iconic blade design” along with revised pinch and swipe controls for music and volume adjustments. Battery life is anticipated to last up to six hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) enabled and up to eight-and-a-half hours without it, while the charging case can prolong listening time to 24 and 30 hours, respectively.

We will be attentively monitoring the enhancements in active noise cancellation and other features that distinguish the Buds3 FE from its earlier models. Previous concerns included bothersome device switching and inadequate microphone quality. Samsung’s announcement of improved Auto Switch capabilities and “Crystal Clear Call technology” indicates these problems may have been resolved.

Should the Galaxy Buds3 FE fulfill these improvements, they could emerge as a leading selection for both affordability and quality.
