Seth Meyers Condemns Trump Administration’s Reaction to ICE Shooting

The late night hosts have all responded to the Trump administration’s reply concerning ICE’s deadly shooting of Renee Good on Wednesday. Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and The Daily Show’s Ronny Chieng condemned the administration for deeming the 37-year-old mother a “domestic terrorist,” in spite of video footage. In the Late Night video above, Seth Meyers also shares his thoughts, wrapping up his “A Closer Look” segment with a grave message directed at the camera. “A 37-year-old mother in a Honda Pilot was shot dead on a residential street and they’re labeling her a terrorist,” Meyers asserts. “The same individuals who referred to those who stormed the federal building as ‘heroes’, the same individuals who endorsed pardoning those who assaulted Capitol police officers while disregarding their commands to cease, are informing us that a woman shot dead in her own vehicle within her own neighborhood is a domestic terrorist. And by doing this, they’re also revealing who they truly are. It is our duty to always remember what they have revealed.”
