In spite of his attempts, Donald Trump cannot escape the Epstein narrative, and his efforts to defend him only worsen the situation.
“When questioned yesterday regarding the unveiling of the Epstein documents at an event in Ohio, Vice President JD Vance remarked that President Trump has been ‘extremely open about that stuff,'” mentions Seth Meyers in the Late Night segment above. “And I concur: We can definitely see right through him.”
Meyers goes on to talk about Trump being interrogated about whether he rushed to conclude an EU trade agreement to shift focus from the Epstein narrative at a press conference in Scotland.
“Oh yes, I’m certain all the conspiracy theorists and MAGA enthusiasts will stop discussing Epstein now that there’s a new trade agreement,” remarks Meyers. “‘So do you think Trump is on that list, or what?’ ‘Who cares? We can buy cheaper sardines from Portugal!'”
